Vulcan
Personnel Update
In
light of our continued success and our focus on communicating Vulcan’s
capabilities to our customers, there have been some organisational
changes within several departments;
Administration
Department
Charlotte Fields has joined Vulcan as
Administration Assistant and is working directly alongside Katherine Swann in
providing Vulcan with switchboard and admin support.
I.T. Department
David Jones has been promoted to Manager level, his key focus now on key I.T. projects to develop our
business further. David’s first project being the completion
of the improved Vulcan web site.
Stephen Lister has joined the I.T. department,
and his key focus is to further ‘electronify’ the
Internal Sales systems.
Commercial
Department
Oliver Cann is Manager of the External
Commercial Support based in Unit 4 and is directly responsible to Rob Fields. Oliver’s key responsibility
is account development and targeting lost and declining accounts.
Ben Lloyd is Manager of the Technical
Commercial department, and is directly responsible to Rob Fields. Ben’s key responsibility is maximising the conversion rate of our quotations and the
efficiencies of the Commercial and Internal Sales departments.
Rob Pearson has been promoted to Team Leader level
and will move shortly to the Technical Commercial department, along with Steve Morris and Mick Wooten. Rob’s key responsibility is
to respond to valuable/non-standard enquiries within 2 hours – fully
considering the customers requirements and ensuring these are communicated and
fulfilled internally.
Candice Mosley & Lisa Bacon now share
the role of Internal Sales Office Managers and are directly responsible to Louise Allen.
Customer
Service & Reliability of Supply Department
Karen Cousin is Manager of Customer Service
and is directly responsible to Louise Allen. In addition to managing the
Purchasing department, Karen’s key responsibilities are: Achievement of
Reliability of Supply to customers, Supplier Performance Analysis and Credits
Management for the business.
