Mechanical Seals

New price lists, for our new X-Series product, will be released before the end of March. These make available the most popular seal types in 100 plus volume packs, at exceptional pricing.

Further to EU legislation, all seals that come into contact with food stuffs should be inert. This will mean that as time progresses more and more businesses will be demanding FDA and EC food industry compliant materials from their suppliers. Vulcan have now developed these materials and all Vulcan Food and Drinks Industry Seals are now available from stock, as design engineered and materially compliant to a FDA Regulation Number 21.CFR.177.1550 + 177.2600 and E.C. Regulation Number 1935/2004.

These seals and parts are being offered at the exact same prices as the standard material seals (you merely need to add a Y- prefix to the previous stock codes which you ordered). This, despite the significantly higher costs involved, is aimed at helping our good customers and distributors develop sales in what is now a significant market opportunity.
