INTRODUCTION

Vulcan have available from the shelf, a range of seals specifically designed to meet the needs of the Food and Dairy Industry and currently supply most of the UK and the European major Dairy process sites.
Vulcan is the second largest producer of Single Spring Mechanical Seals in the UK by volume. We offer the widest range of mechanical seals backed by comprehensive stocks to ensure an assured ex-stock service. All of our Mechanical Seal components are produced to our own drawing in our own factory. We even produce the face materials overseas, such as Carbon, Ceramic, Silicon Carbide and Tungsten Carbide, which means we can control the quality of our product, giving us a major advantage over our competitors. Stringent quality and inspection procedures are implemented at all stages of manufacture and supply, and our company is B.S. 5750/ISO.9000. Quality Assured by Lloyds.
Included in our range are direct design replacements for all of the common Dairy process pump seals such as, APV Puma, APV World and World Plus, Alfa-Laval and Fristam all at prices which should lower your current costs substantially.
